In order to fulfil one of the main tasks of the project CAMART² - promoting cooperation between scientists and industry, as well as creating an innovation development system at the ISSP UL, several project participants visited Chalmers University of Technology (https://www.chalmers.se/en/Pages/default.aspx).
During the first day, Innovation advisor Peter Deakin introduced to Chalmers Innovation System and Chalmers Innovation Office that provides professional and free support and advice to individuals and different research groups at Chalmers regarding innovation and utilisation (https://innovationskontor.chalmers.se/en/content/about-us).
Representatives from the Chalmers Industrial Engineering gave a short overview about their field of expertise offering academic excellence in the format of consultancy in the areas of energy, materials, digitization, design and circular economics (https://chalmersindustriteknik.se/sv/).
The day was summed up by visit to the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship (https://www.chalmers.se/en/departments/tme/school-of-entrepreneurship/Pages/SchoolofEntreprenurship.aspx) and Chalmers Ventures (http://www.chalmersventures.com).
The second day was focused on the deepening of collaboration with the project partner organisation RISE. The strategy for scientific cooperation were outlined and evaluated, as well as certain interaction points for cooperation in the development of joint H2020 projects were set.
