ISSP UL researchers participate in the Foresight Workshop on renewable energy storage

On August 13, researchers and laboratory heads from ISSP UL participated in an engaging digital Foresight Workshop focused on the future of renewable energy storage. Participants explored innovative methods for anticipating how current changes might shape our world by 2030.

This unique workshop was organized as part of the CAMART2 activities to investigate how the RISE Foresight methodology could be applied in the strategic development planning of specific ISSP UL laboratories, with the Energy Materials Laboratory being the first test subject.

The workshop was led by futurist Tobias Öhman from RISE, who provided attendees with valuable insights into the discipline of Foresight. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, participants learned to identify and analyze emerging trends in renewable energy storage. They were encouraged to think critically about the implications of these trends on their strategies and operations.

The key Foresight methodologies were introduced to generate actionable components to enhance the long-term strategy of the Energy Materials Laboratory.
