ISSP UL’s researchers from the Laboratory of Chemical Technologies and Dinex Latvia have been working together to develop new materials and technologies for thermal insulation for some time. Now researchers visited the plant to do some on-site experiments.
During the visit, the parties shared an overview of progress so far and researchers were introduced to Dinex Latvia operations, followed by work in the production area to test out the deposition technology in a real-life set-up.
At the end of the visit, further plans and learned lessons were summarized and further steps and work plans were devised.
