On 19 September, the forum Hydrogen for Mobility and Energy brought together national and international experts from the energy sector at Riga Technical University. During the event, different hydrogen-powered transport vehicles were showcased. The Forum looked at how to stimulate the demand for hydrogen in Central and Eastern Europe and the emergence of hydrogen as an energy carrier, which can help tackle various critical energy challenges.
The session on R&D in Latvian Hydrogen Industries featured Dr. phys. Ainārs Ozols, from the ISSP UL’s Materize unit, gave an overview of R&D services in the high-tech sector.
The ISSP UL director, Dr. phys. Andris Anspoks participated in the event for students, "GREEN SKILLS for the GREEN DEAL".
The Forum is part of national workshops within the JIVE’s 2nd #CEE H2 Bus Roadshow activity taking place in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Poland.
