ISSP UL Deputy Director of science Andris Šternbergs participated in the 44th International Conference on Micro and Nano Engineering MNE 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark from September 24 to 27.
The conference brought together engineers and scientists from all over the world to discuss recent progress and future trends in the fabrication and application of micro- and nanostructures and devices. Applications in electronics, photonics, electromechanics, environment, life sciences and biology were also discussed.
For the 2018 edition, the program covered some of the main activities in micro- and nano engineering and will be structured into four topics:
1) Fabrication Methods and processes
2) Fabrication and Integration of Structures Devices and Systems
3) Physical and Chemical Applications
4) Life Science applications.
