Researcher Halil Arslan from ISSP UL Thin Films Laboratory participated at the DESY Research course 2019 “Trends in Modern Photon Science” in Hamburg, Germany on February 28, where he presented the poster “Local Structure and Valence State of Iridium in Nanocrystalline and Amorphous Thin Film ZnO – IrO”.
This DESY Research course is the 18th course of the annual series of spring research courses on “hot” topics of photon science research. The course provided a broad overview on different aspects of photon science activities of the DESY and Hamburg environment. Special attention was paid to the impact and perspectives of the latest storage ring and FEL sources, as well as lab-based methods and theory on the field.
The course was addressed to master and PhD students, young research fellows, as well as interested scientists.
