Acquiring knowledge on developing, implementing and up-scaling solutions for hydrogen production

A researcher from the ISSP UL’s Laboratory of Kinetics in Self-Organizing Systems, Andrejs Česnokovs, participated in the three-day autumn school “Inorganic Electrochemical Reactors for Sustainable Chemicals, Fuels, and Power Production”. The event was held at the Polytechnic City of Innovation of the Technical University of Valencia from October 24 to October 26.

During the school, the young ISSP UL researcher contributed and presented a talk, “Atomistic insight into proton migration barriers in BaFeO3-δ”. Andrejs had an opportunity to meet and establish contact with Prof. Jose M. Serra (Instituto de Tecnología Química, Universitat Politecnica de Valencia) to discuss his doctoral thesis and a possibility for future collaboration.

This school was an event that connected researchers, students and industry specialists and empowered discussions on developing, implementing, and up-scaling solutions for hydrogen production, which is currently a major part of the European strategy for green energy production.

The school was co-organized by the European projects WINNER (Clean Hydrogen Partnership, GA ID 101007165), eCOCO2 (H2020 SC3, GA ID 838077), PROTOSTACK (Clean Hydrogen Partnership, GA ID 101101504), SINGLE (Clean Hydrogen Partnership, GA ID 101112144) and SUSTAINCELL (Clean Hydrogen Partnership, GA ID 101101479) funded by the European Commission.
