On September 17, 2014, the first stage application for the CAMART2 project was submitted, marking the beginning of an incredible journey. Out of over 160 competing projects, CAMART2 was one of just 20 to secure funding to develop its ambitious plan. Thanks to a positive evaluation by the European Commission, the project received €15 million in funding in 2017, and it is now entering the final year of this eight-year project.
To celebrate this significant milestone and the collaborations that have blossomed since its inception, the ISSP UL brought together CAMART2 consortium partners KTH and RISE. During the first day of the two-day meeting, researchers and project managers came together to discuss the progress made and the project’s impact on ISSP UL. A dedicated session for those involved in CAMART2 communications was held, where plans to share the project’s successes with various target audiences effectively were outlined as CAMART2 approaches its conclusion.
On the second day, September 18, consortium partners conducted work meetings to summarize achievements from 2024 and plan remaining activities as well as closing efforts. A key focus of the discussions was the scientific collaborations between ISSP UL and its Swedish partners, which form the foundation for successful long-term cooperation.
