On January 8, the opening of the #ZinātneLatvijai2024 (Research Latvia 2024) calendar and exhibition took place in Riga. The calendar features the leading researcher and head of the ISSP UL’s Laboratory of Materials for Energy Harvesting and Storage, Dr.phys. Gints Kučinskis.
This calendar, an annual initiative by the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia, seeks to pay tribute to scientists who are not only passionate but also exceptional in their respective fields, demonstrating boundless creativity. Minister of Education and Science Anda Čakša warmly welcomed participants at the event, along with the management and colleagues from institutions represented by the featured scientists.
