Representatives from ISSP UL’s Materize platform for cooperation with industry have visited Helsinki as part of the Latvian research delegation lead by the managing director of Latvian Investment and Development Agency.
Research cooperation adds value as it is enabling new high-tech solutions like new materials and robotized solutions for more efficient and better carbon handprint= positive impact on the climate change. The visit strengthened and created new cooperation for excellence between Finland and Latvia enabling new Horizon and other initiatives.
Researcher Pēteris Lesničenoks from Laboratory of Materials for Energy Harvesting and Storage and leading researcher Gatis Mozoļevskis from Laboratory of Prototyping of Electronic & Photonic Devices represented ISSP UL’s Materize team. They shared their experience and Materize offered services and scientific collaboration not only in the fields of material design and modelling, energy harvesting and storage; electronics and photonics; nanomaterials and ceramics, but also expertise in thin films and coatings, cleanroom facilities and prototyping.
