The annual conference – school took place from August 22 to August 26 in Palanga, Lithuania. This year’s topics included Methods of Surface Analysis; Surface Engineering and Nanostructures; Electronic and Optical Materials; Ceramics; Polymers and Composites; Advanced Engineering Materials; Materials for Energy.
On the second day of the conference, the leading researcher from the ISSP UL’s Laboratory of Kinetics in Self-Organizing Systems, Dr.phys. Anatoli Popov gave an oral presentation of his research entitled “Distinctive Features of Diffusion-Controlled Defect Recombination in Irradiated Functional Ceramics for Nuclear Applications”.
ISSP UL’s young and experienced researchers participated in poster sessions taking place on the third day of the conference. Research of more than 30 ISSP UL’s scientists was presented during the sessions.
International ADVANCED MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGIES conference – school is an international event intended for young scientists and PhD students interested in Materials Science and Condensed Matter Physics. It is organized every year at the end of August in Palanga, Lithuania.
