ISSP UL Director Mārtiņš Rutkis participated in the "World Congress on Lasers and Photonics" with invited speech "Molecular glasses as a promising class of materials for photonic applications" taking place in Barcelona, Spain on September 23-25.
This congress was designed to provide a platform for discussion and networking as well as to share new ideas, advancements and research related to the application of lasers, optics and photonics technology in various fields and industries and its related topics with the theme of “Advancements of Lasers, Optics and Photonics in the modern world”. Laser and optical technologies are in general absolutely essential to performing applied research in areas such as chemistry and biology, providing fundamental analysis tools.
Optics 2019 provided excellent opportunities for global sharing of expertise, products, and technology and best practices in the field of Lasers, Optics and Photonics.
