Director of ISSP UL among the speakers at Europe’s leading 5G ecosystem forum

Director of ISSP UL Andris Anspoks is one of the speakers at the Europe’s leading 5G ecosystem forum 5G TECHRITORY. The forum was kicked off on November 1, leading into a week-long (November 22-25) deep dive into the most pressing questions in 5G.

As we are moving ever-closer to a super-connected, 5G-enabled world, the 5G infrastructure will become the engine of the connected world, and will rely on policy, norms, and standards that do not yet exist. The global 5G ecosystem is still fragmented, which delays us from accessing the full benefits of 5G technology. This is why the need to establish a common ground among all of the players in the field that would put all the pieces together is necessary.

This year’s event brings together thought leaders, business vanguards, top scientists, and policy makers to set the agenda for the realization of a strong 5G ecosystem. It brings together global practitioners, which share the real value of 5G, open new horizons for the implementation of 5G, and set the agenda for policies and strategies into the new decade.

The ISSP UL aims at fulfillment of the CAMART2 mission, which is to serve as a knowledge base, and thus it takes every opportunity to foster scientific excellence in forming strong networks with both academia and industry for knowledge exchange and in striving to contribute to the technological advancement of the people. Participation in the Europe’s leading 5G ecosystem forum does just that - fulfills these efforts.

The forum’s new – phygital (physical + digital) – format allows gathering an exceptionally large number of participants and creates truly global, borderless opportunities for 5G practitioners to meet and collaborate.

5G Techritory is Europe’s leading initiative that brings together industry experts, business leaders, top scientists, and policy makers to set the agenda for making a strong 5G ecosystem a reality: Business leaders – to create innovative business models; Policy makers – to create the policies to guide them; Investors – to fund the advancement of a 5G society; Scientists – to support adoption of 5G technologies in society.
